lil preview of my first experimental animation assignment

ziggystarfox:

i had a few requests from people asking to see the deck of cards we MCAD students put together as a group, and hey i’m always willing to promo my friends and their cool art so here’s a small selection of the 54 cards that were made:

queen of clubs: Krista McCullough (kmcculloughcreations)

ace of hearts: Maddi Gonzalez (maddigonzalez)

king of hearts: Max Sjöberg (who has yet to make any sort of suitable art page to link to. on the off-chance you like that sweet-ass piece so much that you’d care to give him money to work his 3D rendery magic for you [and who wouldn’t tbh] here’s his email)

4 of spades: Madeline McGrane (madelinehmcgrane)

king of spades: Alex Knutson (alexknutsonart)

4 of diamonds: Jordan Hamann (jordanhamannart)

5 of diamonds: Noah Lawrence-Holder (noahlhartworks)

joker: Urs Aristizábal, yours truly (moxievegas)

Animation practice #3 [X]

2nd place prize of my giveaway for iwritegud
Done. It is a bit messy here and there but it looks okay I guess. I am a little out of practice with digital are, I’m sorry!!! This is Lumpy Space Princess as a slice of life anime character. It took me way too long to make this so sorry again. It was difficult figuring out a more humanized version of LSP. I tried more close to canon versions but they looked iffy.
"We’re going to the beach, loser."
EDIT: I uploaded a better version of LSP in a slice of life anime. Watermelon had some racial connotations that I didn’t know about nor that I wanted to express so I changed it. Sorry if I offended anyone with the previous version. I also removed the gum bubble and made a few minor changes.
